Rumors is Neil Simon's fast-paced farce that starts with one gunshot, a missing hostess, and a lot of very expensive secrets. As a group of affluent New Yorkers scramble to save face (and their reputations), the lies pile up faster than the hors d’oeuvres disappear. By the end of the night, no one knows who’s telling the truth — or why they showed up in the first place. Under the energetic direction of Harry White and Raphael Berglas, this production reimagines Simon’s celebrated farce for a fresh Los Angeles audience.
